I believe that we are all launched into this life as basically capable, sound, and unique individuals who have limitless resources to solve our own problems. But sometimes, at a critical moment when we are poised to move to a new level of growth, something holds us back ... relationship problems, a loss, a failure, a weakness ... just plain old fear; and we forget about our many inner resources and outer options and especially about what unique and courageous creatures we really are ... and we feel stuck.

How do we break out of this "stuckness"? A very positive, proactive approach is to see a therapist, where you can talk things over in a confidential, non-judgmental place.

Therapy for me is about remembering those resources and looking at life with a fresh perspective. Together, making sense of where you've been, and creating where you would like to go ... who you've been, who you are and who you would like to become.
