journey we call "life". People from every socio-economic level, every
culture, every ethnicity, and every religion -- men, women and children --
see a therapist from time to time to try to make sense of something that
troubles them.
At times, our lives seem easy, manageable, happy .... at others, we may feel "stuck"-- inadequate, helpless, frustrated. When we stay in "stuck" too long, we may begin to feel anxious and depressed. These feelings are guiding us toward growth ... toward something new. Growth is good; growth is healthy. Trouble is, the hopefulness inherent in this growth is also "the unknown", which can be scary ... scary leads to fear ... fear leads to anxiety ... and, well, you get the picture!
